Third gear wheelies can be acomplished on a stock bike if you shift through the gears, you could go to 6 if you had the skill. Riding wheelies and shifting through the gears is about keeping the bike balanced. Now if you are riding down the street in third gear and then pull the front wheel up that shows the power of the bike(which can be mutiplied by gearing). The real question is what is the fastest speed you can be traveling at and pull the front wheel up.
