If I had the spare cash, I would do it. I rode mine a lot on the trails when I was in Wyoming and never felt like it shouldn't be on the trail. I had a Steahly flywheel weight, pipe, and fmf spark arrestor muffler as my only mods. It was pretty good on the track too, but I prefer the trails. I replaced it with a 03 KTM 450sx and that bike put a really bad taste in my mouth about 4 strokes. I figured I would give the 4 strokes another chance with the KLX.

Here's a pic of it when I had it sitting next to it's replacement.

My brother bought mine from me. Here's what it looks like now.
Hard to believe it's the same bike.

Look's like a nice ride.

If you buy it, make sure the seller includes that custom color un-coordinated stand in the deal!

Heck yeah - bring it up.

However, since we'll be riding on numbered roads in the Apalachicola National Forest - you're on your own brother!

You said the KTM 450 put a bad taste in your mouth. I was just wondering what happened that turned you off to 4 strokes???

I just called to see if I could look at it tomorrow. It's already sold, I knew it wouldn't last long.
