I need a measurement from a stock bike please !
I am going to have my bike lowered correctly, now, and am setting it back to the stock rear link and front fork. I believe I raised the forks in the brace about a 1/2" but can't remember exactly and didn't write it down (weird for me). Can someone give me a measurement from the top of the upper brace to the very top of the fork or to the top of the gold colored part of the fork ?
Thanks !
Thanks !
3/16" from the gold of the fork tube top under the cap to where the fork is clamped at the top tree.I have never moved mine and I measured this for someone else here a while back.
ORIGINAL: 2k1w=no$
I measured .387-.390 from the top of the clamp to the top of the fork.

You guys are funny !
So since 3/16" = .1875 then thesilver cap must be ((.387-.390) - .1875) or .1995-.1998" thick.
As usual, thanks to all !

Of course we are !
So I decided to lower my bike the right way and put the stock links back on and the forks were they belong and adjusted for rider and bike sag and GUESS WHAT ? My feet are flat on the ground ! I guess it took a while for the suspension to settle in. Anyways, I don't need to spend no moola !!!
