Doug-just came back from there. One idiot over there has 2450 posts and has only been a member since June of this year-do these idiots have a life, let alone a job-I think this PWI thing is getting out of hand

Mmmmm hummmm.. .I feel ya man. Although I have never driven a street bike, latelyI got a REAL BAD itch for a Z1000. 2007 of course(I almost **** when I seen the white 08 version on Kawai's site). I would haveto keep my KLX of course. But man I love the look of the Z. I want it mostly for a commuting vechile. I would assume they would get around 40-50 mpg on the highway? I hope anyway, for when I get one(hopefully).
The GF gets pissed at me whenever I talk about it. She said she wouldn't be so mad if I sold the KLX and bought the street bike, but I couldn't have both.... pffffttt... Hell with that..

This is why I have a sport bike, cruiser and a dual-sport. No one bike can do it all.

Done the touring bike thing when I was married
Started off with a dirt bike, came back to a dirt bike, embarass sport bikes in the twisties on it, LOVE IT [sm=smiley27.gif]

 

While I love my KLX, I do keep looking at the Ninja 650R! I liked the blue with the 2007 but the green 2008 is really sweet. Would still keep the KLX as it is such an awesome bike. Would always rather be out in the trails.
