Default I got a hare scramble trophy!

Remember Flat Rock?

Well, apparently I did well enough to trophy! If you recall from the above write-up, we couldn't wait around for the results to be posted and trophies handed out due to the long drive and folks contesting the results due to people cutting the track.

Well looky what showed up in the mail today. I would have gotten it first hand if I had hung around. I'm pretty stoked considering it was only my 2nd race. Ever.

Good job bro. Nothing like a trophy on the mantle, that's something to be proud of.

Thanks guys! Yeah I know it's only a 10th place finish in a local amateur hare scramble, but I'm still pretty stoked - most of those guys are playing for keeps, even so. And it was only my 2nd race ... ever (at that time, I've done one more since) and I'm feeling pretty good to do well enough to get a trophy. Also, I'm not a young kid any more by any means, and my whole class I raced in are these 20 to 24 year old young bucks who are fearless and haven't learned yet about their own mortality. I guess it goes to show that age and treachery still beats youth and skill. Well, enough for a 10th place finish, anyway.

It's always cool to get something in the mail. Ooooh a package, what could it be? I'm sure it made your day to get a package with a trophy in it.
At my house the package is usually something the wife bought from old navy.com.
Good job.
