yes... well... we'll keep that a quiet one... accuracy to 20m is fine as long as your not landing a smart bomb... or wanting to find a place in the dark... or get an accurate speed reading...

Actually its not fine at all. bah.

I tested my speedo with my NUVI gps and it was off a consistant 2 kph through out the range of 30 to 80 kph. The nuvi is dead on with my xterra

Good lord..asking your 20 is just wanting to know what part of the world you are in, if you are paranoid, just give a country.

I use a gps all through the atlantic and overland in in the States and central America.....unless the US Military is jamming for some reason ...I have never seen less than 70 foot accuracy usually 40 foot or less.

No smart bombs are coming from the kx forum..lol.

hmm, I've been beside my wife in our van doing 65mph on my '09 and according to her, she was doing the same and we weren't backing up traffic the three miles or so we did that. bike speedos, according to my experience seems to be around 10% off or so. the '09 KLX speedo is magnetic so it should be more accurate than most bikes. I'm not buying the nearly 10mph difference claimed unless that was on a pre '09 KLX.

ooohhhh... umm. woops.

I assumed you were refering to the less than awesome 20+ meter accuracy on most New Zealand Gps systems.

(I'm from New Zealand btw...)

Some top trails there btw.
I have always promised myself a m/c tour of NZ some day.
Life keeps getting in the way.

that there is... planning on doing a final salute to NZ touring this summer, then start hitting off shore, where the women are hotter, the roads more twisty, and the gps doesn't lie.

Btw, if your wanting an express tour of NZ, theres an 8 day sprint happening next year January. Surely life can be put on hold for 8 days?
