Default How is the power, up hill?

I plan to ride this too work (not just off road). I'm about 185lbs. Is this bike going to have a hard time maintaining 55 or 60 mph on the road going up hills? I am not a speed demon, but I don't want to have to get off and push. Just curious. This will be my first bike (not incuding mountain bikes) and I just what to know what I'm getting into here.
Thanks
Steve

I am 165-170lbs and have no issues. I can ride into 60km/hr winds and still do 110kms/hr (70mph)without the bike even breaking a sweat!

If there real steep or long don't expect to stay in 6th on a stock bike. Not that there is anything wrong with 4th or 5th.

you shouldn't have any problems,I'm 190 and the bike has stock gearing, tires. I have just did a little jetting and for the most part it rips, well it might not buy the bike is so light you think your ripping. I can run 80mph on the interstate w/o to much trouble

I'm also 185, and totally stock I could approach a hill at 65 and come over the top at 50 w/out downshifting. With the mods in my signature it will hold 65 easily on my route to work. Now in the backroads hills and twisties I really work the tranny on it following my dad on his v-4 1100 which is practically an automatic with its broad torque curve. Sawing through the gears is half the fun though on the backroads.

Well I just got back today from camping, (scenery and ride report pics soon) and the 45 mile ride home left me a little sluggish on the steeper hills. I am 230 and running the 13-45 setup with the full Muzzy and Jetted. But 5th will pull anything. Man I wish I could just lose about 50 lbs.

wow...I am the light weight here at 150 ......Mine will pull top egar on all but the steepest delaware valley hills here and then i just kick her down one notch......If I run my off road gearing which is a 14f-49 rear it just makes me nervous on the highway as she is really buzzing 6500 rpm to run at 60 mph........Either way it'll run very good.
