Default How many riders?

Hey everyone, I was wanting to know if it's possible to carry a passenger on the KLX250 ? If you can, are there foot pegs for a passenger? If I do ride my wife on the back, it would only be for around town, nothing far. Thanks in advnace!

my 07 had foot pegs. the bike in stock suspension was only meant to hold 145lbs you can upgrade springs and revalve for more weight

Yes, the KLX has pegs. It makes a fun tour bike The wifey and I ferried it to an island over the summer. Was great and loved the sand roads No probs with bottoming, the suspension was fine with us on it.

Oh yes, the wife and weigh a combined 270 with gear and easily merged onto highways and cruise around on my 09. She never squawked about the smallish pegs or the hard seat.

It's capable, but not comfortable for long rides.

While a person could cross the English channel in a canoe, it isn't the boat I'd take.

yea it'll do it, its really impressive too, kinda like beating up a tiny 5hp snoblower in the winter by mashing it into that snowbank it was never meant to see... it does it!

not as good as the the fancy 13hp snowblower, but holy sh*t it worked still lol.

But yea my girlfriend complained of her right foot getting a little hot at times, due to the exhaust, other than that it was fine.

Yep. Wifey loves to take short rides with me through the mountains... 40 or so miles is about all she's comfortable doing. That's about my limit too. :-)

Rode around Lake Tahoe last month 2up, about 75 miles.

She said her butt will never be the same.

She doesn't mind the KLR with the Corbin seat for long trips.
