How many Hp can I expect?
The earlier D models got the best CDI. 5 degree advance at 1700 rpm and then 40 degree at 3000 rpm. The AUS R model gets 5 degree advance at 1300 rpm and 35 degree at 5000 rpm. The 09 S model gets 10 degree advance at 1300 rpm and 25 degree at 5000 rpm (AUS 09 S model gets 10 degree at 1300 and 35 degree at 5000.)
While I agree with the pinciple of beefing-up the clutch when you add power, I would hesitate to go with Barnett springs.
For reference, visit klxforum.suncup.net ...I think the info will be in the the engine section, but if not there it will be easy to find...everything is very neatly categorized.
