Default How many fingers on the clutch?

Interested on how others ride. What's your style when it comes to clutch action?

i use all four fingers on both.... i never even think about it...i just do it... on my mountain bike i only use pointer and middle on both....

ok, related topic.... what advantages are there to using just a few fingers? ive never had a problem... and i consider myself a pretty good rider, i never "loose" the bars cause im using all fingers to use the lever.....

Just middle finger only 90% of the time, but I switch it up when I start getting arm pump to include pinky, ring and middle to spread the joy.

You can grip the bar better if you don't have all four fingers on the clutch. Two very common grips are pinky, ring, middle, & thumb on the grip, index on the clutch/brake. Conversely, index & thumb on the grip, pinky, ring, and middle on the clutch.

Spend $20 and watch Rich Lafferty's instructional clips, he goes into this stuff in quite a bit of detail.
