yep...I'll be buried with mine just like Deej...I have a hard time parting with everything even if it turns into junk eventually....c'mon i still have the frame of my 74 RD350 in the attic because i can't part with a perfectly "good" bike frame that might have a slim chance in hell of ever being used again......I do have some issues.....parts for mechanical items is one of my issues....if it has anything of value (tubes, nuts, bolts) I keep it because i could always cut the tubes out of something to weld into something else that i may need to build .......yep as said i got issues...

depending on how much riding I do I may upgrade to the KLX450 in the next year.
But will keep the 250 for the Mrs.

Cheers
Chris.

Planing on keeping it since I can't afford to buy another bigger bike. Plus, I'm hoping to keep it long enough to pass it along to me childeren one day. In April of 2008, I will have owned the KLX for 1 year. I've already driven it 2,000 miles since then.

I'll keep it until I grow another 6 inches (which aint gonna happen-as I'm 35 years old now, unless someone comes out with a new drug that'll do the trick) soI can get the KLX450....and I don't see any platform mx boots to make up the height either so it stays.

I voted 1-2 years even though I absolutely love this bike. My riding is getting better and I could see myself upgrading to a fuel injected 450 dual sport in a couple of years.

It does what I want it to do, a little off road alittle on I've got it set up just the way I want so being 60 it's the last duel sport I will own. ( ok my wife finally left the room... what do you think about the new 450?)
