What riding do you do with your KLX? Commuter, off road, on road, both, collecting dust in the garage? I want to see pictures of you riding your KLX. I ride mostly offroad anymore. I'm going to try to post some pics of me on mine.

 

Sweet pics Matt. I've posted some of today's ride, but I was alone so there are no "action" shots. I've put 1700 miles on my bike in 2 months..so it definitely isn't collecting dust..maybe some mud, dirt, bugs...My favorite riding is on double track/single track trails.

 

I have 850 miles on mine, I'd probably be over 1000 if I didn't break it already(only had it 4 weeks). konacoiler you need to ride with someone makes riding alot more enjoyable.

 

You're right Matt, it is more fun riding w/someone else. Problem is only 2 of my friends ride dual sports, and they don't ride on trails too often. They ride 650's and they are more road oriented. My other riding buddies usually ride their quads at the dunes..

 

mostly i ride back and forth to work to save gas money. my dodge truck sucks it down!!
but i try to go to the apalachicola nat'l forest as much as possible. but its like 1.5 hours away and there isn't really anywhere else good to ride near me.

 

I've got 1450 miles on mine, bought it back at the end of November. I ordered it 2 months before the dealership had even seen one, I got the first one in Western Washington. I don't have any action shots but I do have some scenery shots of a couple of rides. I would say that my riding so far has been 75% on the blacktop and 25% on trails and logging roads. What a blast this bike has become. I am a 17 year old kid again. That's funny 41 going on 17 LOL

Got mine in late January and now have about 1800 miles on it. It was exactly what I was looking for, a non-wimpy on/off road bike that I could have fun off-road, yet didn't have to trailer it to get there. I also wanted a good commuter for my relatively short 30 mile round-trip commute. Neither do I have any action shots since I've not hooked up with any fellow riders yet.

I use mine to zip around town a lot, costs almost nothing to keep it running... my truck on the other hand...

Its main use is for irrigating, I can run around to get to a pasture if the gates are closed, or run through the fields. Most of the times both. Works great for herding cows too.

When I've got nothing better to do Ill take it out and explore. When I get my track finished, Ill ride the hell out of that.

 

Hey Nobrakes it looks like you are alot out of place at work. What do your co workers say when you you pull up with a dirty bike?

 

They're all nice guys, some are there on their bikes rain or shine. I don't get any hassle for not having any shiny chrome. One of my good friends rides a Harley Sportster and I'm trying to get him to pick up a KLX. He lives just a couple miles from me and I figure it'd be even more fun to ride with someone. He said his Harley won't go down the center of railroad tracks:
