How do you adjust the Mikuni Jet Needle?
Ok, here's my stupid question of the day:
Can the needle [8] be adjust up/down by taking the top cover [2] off while its on the bike, or do you have to take the wholeair funnel[12] off (which means you have to drop the float bowl [31] in order to remove the A/P nozzle [36] first?
I know you eventually have to undo the 2 screws [4] above the needle , but can it all be done from the top, which means taking out the throttle lever bolt [58] and swinging the throttle lever [56] up out of the way? Or can it still be done from the top, but you have to remove the whole shift assembly shaft [53] ("shift shaft"?) because the throttle lever won't move far enough out of the way?
Man, working on these little suckerscan be complicated!
Thanks!
Mike

I'll I have to do is pull the top cover and one screw and pull the needle and adjust the clip, It took me longer to type this then do it.
