Default Holy FMF Batman!

Wow, I just installed my new FMF pipe and what a difference! I won't lie and say that I'm pulling 3rd gear wheelies or anything but there is a definite performance increase and the sound of it is amazing! I love the way it purrrs! What an awesome addition to an awesome bike.

I am going to order the powerbomb headpipe tonight.

I installed it without the recommended silicone seal but I don't have any leaks around the connector so I'm good to go. Especially since the powerbomb should be here soon and now I won't have to clean the silicone off.

The entire installation only took about 10 minutes. One thing that threw me for a minute was that there was some kind of packing inside the female end end of the stock header. It looked like metal so at first I didn't think the FMF pipe was the right size. After I removed the packing it slid in perfectly.

I know everyone has seen tons of FMF pictures but you haven't seen MINE so hear goes:

And lastly, one with the side panels back on

I think I got a pretty good deal. $295 delivered.

Thanks for looking!

That FMF definately looks "phat" and poppin' fresh....yo. I would get one but I don't have the jack..so I have a poor man's FMF (used 250D pipe from ebay )

And make sure you use the anti -redeye on your camera next time. That cute little girl looks like shes about ready to go vampire on someone!

Is that her 50 in the background or is that the old man's?

Wow, looks awesome. How's the clearance of the side panel? Looks kinda tight but it might be the lighting. I really want the full Muzzy system for my bike but that's $500 I don't have, and if I did, it'd be spent elsewhere first...

There is a ton of clearance. There is more room than the stock pipe. One thing to note, based on what everyone says about aftermarket pipes, I thought the FMF was going to be WAY lighter than the stock pipe. Using my calibrated arm, I'd estimate the FMF at about 3 lbs lighter. It's definitely lighter but it's not "night and day."
