Default Hmmm Winter Tires

Got 3500 miles on my K605z....Great tires just not enough on the rear for Winter riding...

I was going to tack/screw the rear tire and every other side lug on the front but tires are cheap enough.....So might as well buy new....

Im gonna see some frozen over bay riding...Snowmobile trails and riding to work...

So far Im liking the

Metzler MCE Karoo 2

and

Kenda K760 Trakmaster II

Anyone else see anything out there worth checking out......

Thanks

Rocco

I'm selling mine as I no longer have the klx.

http://s88.photobucket.com/albums/k1...2008-03-29.flv

GBC dirt sharks in stock sizes 80/100/21 and 100/100/18, 500 combined sheet metal screws and kold kutter gold ice screws.

Shoot an e-mail to joshuatbryant@gmail.com with you zipcode and we can work out a shipping price. I really just want them gone as they are taking up space in my parents' garage and they ask about them everytime I'm home.

I don't think the KLX could handle the track mod as I found a significant power loss going to a 110 michelin AC-10 over a 100 size trakmaster.

I took the KLX as shown through 13" deep wet heavy snow and it was more paddling than anything. The vid was on top of nearly 2 feet of snow. We had gotten a mid winter thaw and then it froze overnight so it was rock hard ice crust on top. I could take the KLX anywhere on that stuff.
