I didn't get to ride with shadetree but hopefully he will jump in here and tell us how it ran. Also I think that fishfinder has some pics that he can post, and offer some more comentary.
It really was a great group.
The cop just came to check us out and see what we were up to. They are accustomed to lots of motorcycle traffic in that area.
So how did she like the TW? I still think for trails you won't find a better bike. The fat tires are the best for traction.

Rhonda just loves the TW. It does real well on all terains. It is especially stable on the loose gravel,..... when everybody else is wiggling through that stuff she was as straight as an arrow.

kmarshal, My MSR bottles are being held on by my own little invention. I got a rubber 3" PVC coupler and cut a 3/4" section out of it, then wrapped it around each bottle. Then took reusable wide wireties and put them around the angled sections of the lugage rack to tie the rubber to the rack. It worked really well! The bottles didn't move at all and were easy to remove to use and reinstall, when I needed the gas. I'll try to get a close up picture for you.
I had several people ask me what they were. It kind of became a joke, because I was telling everyone that it was my NOS setup.

What an awseome ride and a great bunch of people!

Yeah, I noticed the MSR fuel bottle setup, too. A pic or two would be helpful. As far as the sheepskin, that wasn't me ... I thinkyou're thinking ofKawi Wawi.

I have a few pictures to share if I can figure out how to post them. I'll try one and see if it works.

Short break -

You were so close - change 'img' above to 'image'. IMO, these forum programs should accept either one. But I guess they are picky picky.
