Thanks for the help! I think I'lltry the N1TC needle jet (clip on 2nd notch), stock pilot, #122 main jet, and 1.5 turns out on the fuel screw. One more question...how many turns outis the fuel screwfrom the factory? Thanks again!

Hope you are keeping a log in your manual of the adjustments that you are playing with. Also list outdoor ambient temp in your chart.

Good info. Looks like the stock main jet works really good at that altitude. Is that a typo on the pilot size? I definitely understand going to dual snorkel. I'd be going for all the air I can get. I'd probably just remove the whole lid, because I don't mind the induction noise, but others prefer to keep it toned down a bit.

That's some very useful information. Thanks.

Off road is the norm for me! Air box lid off is just asking for water induction, (alot of stream crossings around here), that is why I prefer to run the dual snorkel. Internal combustion engines don't really like water. The bike runs very well and I don't have any coldstart issues.
I hope this is useful. Oh! and yes my pilot jet is still stock #135. And I think the factory mixture screwvaries. Doesn't matter. Get it dialedin for your altitude: 1 to 2/12 turns out.

Stock pilot size is #35 not #135...that's why I asked if that was a typo earlier. [8D]

It is supposed to come from the factory with 1.5turns. The best way to know were you are starting from is to GENTLY seat the screw, then count the turns.

Tremor, thanks for the reminder. Yea, my pilot is stock #35 and not #135.

I'm in Cheyenne too and I'm running no lid and a K&N with 125 main, 2nd notch from the top on the N1TC needle, and 2 turns out on the fuel screw. I installed a full Big Gun last week but haven't rode it yet to see what I need to do with the jetting now.

Oh, and my plug is a dark caramel brown. Just about perfect, I think?
When I get the 331cc Big Bore installed any ideas on a starting point for the jetting?

When I first installed my 331cc I used it briefly with my CVK carb and the jet sizes I used were #130 main jet, #35 pilot, fuel screw 2 turns out and the N1TC needle on the 3rd clip. It ran very good with a good strong mid-range. I'm a few hundred feet above sea level.
