Headlight change, Electrical fiasco...
Hello again people!
I changed ny d-tracker's headlight today with the klx-like from UFO.
Though all connections were made correct during the successful test process on of the cables unlocked from it's position and must have touched another cable. Since then I have no headlights, and no tail light (i DO have brake indicator, turn signals, tachometer light, ignition etc.).
Any idea of what I may have burnt???
Thank you.

If the tail light is out too....except for brakes, I bet a bad ground or fuse......but it seems strange that the brake light is on a different fuse, not sure....bump
You got a multi-meter right? Track it down.

No man no multimeter....
I suppose that the light that are constantly on, like headlight-taillight are on a different wiring than turn indicators and brake lights.. That's what i can understand from the electrical diagram, plus theres no fuse but a relay..

I would honestly start with a fuse , usually when you ground a DC circuit you just pop a fuse, with todays circuitry, very unlikely to blow a relay at relativly low voltage. In your owners manual there is a few pages about what fuses do what i would start there...
Hope this helps...

There is an inline fuse hold under your seat, inthe areajust aft of the airbox. It is flat shaped and holds two fuses. That's were you'll find the blown fuse/fuses.
tremor, the only fuse I managed to find is 20A one which i guess is the central one, exactly behind and left of the battery (the rubber holder of this fuse has also a spare one underneath it, the existense of which i never knew!!!!!!)
Anyways, could you please be a lil more specific about that flat box? Is it between the other cables? Is it mounted somewhere? Do you mean the black flat box, that has the size of a pack of cigarettes, and is mounted next to the battery??
You would do me a great favour if you could post a pic or sth (i don't mean to trouble you, only if you are able..).
Thanks man!
