Thumbs up Hats off to this company.

I just thought I would report a positive purchasing experience.

I recently ordered some parts from Bike Bandit.
20 oil filters, 2 air filters and 2 sets of front and rear brake pads.
(just stocking up)
My first order from them and the parts were well priced and they arrived quickly.

Anyway, as luck would have it, one of the sets of brake pads was wrong.
Right part number but wrong part shipped.
mmmmm
And here I am on the other side of the world.
I was expecting to have to ship the wrong part back and then they would check it out and then send me the right part but I would need to pay for shipping again.

2 emails later they apologised for the error, credited my account for the pads, taxes and shipping, told me I could keep the wrong pads and invited me to order again.

Brilliant.

I like to judge a company on not if a problem has occurred, because even in the best companies, s#%t will happen, but on how they choose to resolve the problem.

I few other companies could learn from Bike Bandit's response.

Just thought I would spread the word, especially to those ordering from Aus.

I've ordered from them before. Luckily, I got the right part the first time. But, it all worked out, so I was happy!

After my first Bike Bandit purchase a few years back I decided to stick with these guys for most of my stuff. Love their OEM online schematics and the ability to order just about ANY part for almost any bike. Shipping in unbelievably fast considering they are on the opposite coast from me. Very satisfied customer here. Bike Bandit comes highly recommended.
