Always. Done it on the 640 (not all the way across, though), but not on the KLX.

A trip like that would be fun, but definately not on the KLX. My backside is only good for about 150 miles on that seat.[:'(]

 

I think I would take th upright position and a ****ty seat than the good seat but ****ty position on ym sportbike I ahve...lol

Yea that would be awsome... id love to do it....but the klx isnt the bike for it, cant haul that much stuff, now a KLR650 would be awsome to do that on......

 

So you're one of the bastards that got me to buy an adventure. I'm still doing mods, taking 10 days off around Thanksgiving and getting lost. She looked like this when I bought her..... I'll post her final look when done. The klx would really be rough to do it on, but some people do it, aka the advrider minimalist or 250 and under thread I think. There are some good ideas on that thread.
