If so, how did you manage the cylinder swap and was there any duty on the kit? GST/PST etc and what shipping did you use?

I`ll let you know when i get it. I sent my cylinder as a gift....20bucks shipping from Montreal.

I'd like to stay updated on this as well.....I may need to get a big bore kit should I accidentally blow my engine and explain to my wife that this is the much cheaper option than a new bike....lol

mud, just take the bike out back while the wife is gone and hold it wide open and you might get your self a big bore, port and polish job, and some new valves to boot .

I'd be happy if she would just blow a headgasket or the rings wore and started burning oil...lol...I could work with that.

Shut gas off, take wife to garage, crank until battery dead. Claim bike "wasn't running right last time out and i had a bad feeling". Big bore here we go!

Now there is an idea!...and I save the cylinder from damage as I would need it to bore out....hmmmm
