its going good deej! lol. Brian, if i sell it, sweet, im already eye-balling the 530's as we speak, if not, ill pumper and big bore the klx and ride it for another year or two!

 

this is why it's soooo important not to try out anyone's ride. i was just the happiest guy around until i rode a buddies yz250f. razor sharp, whereas our klx is more, well, refined. seemed like the yammie had that instant reaction (is that what pumper carbs do?). the klx (even with a vortex throttle) still has that millisecond delay. anyway - i warn everyone, stick with your klx, don't borrow anyone's machine, or you may end up like hardtaco. taco, good luck whichever way you go. i've been on a really similar klx mod path as you. keep us posted.

 

Yea I was all ok until I rode a out of the box DRZ and it was all over but the shouting. LOL But I won't trade my KLX for anything.

 

You think a drz was nice try a ktm 300 xc-w .... two smoke with electric start WITH A TAG....ohhh I will own one one day. Maybe a year or so....a drz is a pig in sugar I prefer a klx.

I like my 4T, though. But I wouldn't rule one of those new fangled orange chain saws out one of these days.

Im actually in durham NC, which is about 15 mins north of raleigh. Sorry its to rich, I just cant take much less since I have a good bit of money tied up in the bike with aftermarket stuff. Right at 2000 Miles on the bike.
