Happy Thanksgiving
I like the way you think, nice Jeep too.
thats great. yeah, nice jeep too. what kind of trailer is that? is it a re-worked pwc trailer?
Well, at least 60 feet from Mexico.
Heading out to the Big Bend area of west Texas in the AM for a couple of weeks of desert riding and camping. I'll be dodging cartel drug lords and border patrol...and cactus...and rocks...and javelinas. The weather for the next 10 days looks pretty bad down there...70-80 degree days and 45 degree nights. Hope I survive.

Nope, its an older Kendon stand-up trailer. I live in a HOA, so I needed something I could keep in my garage. The new ones are a little different, but they still make them. Got it off CL for a few hundred bucks. Great little trailer. Small, light, folds up, built in wheel chocks, tie downs, spare tire, and has a suspension.
TNC, do you have to do anything to your tires to deal with things like goathead thorns (don't know if that really is the name - they look like the spikes cops toss on the ground - 4 sharp points, 1 always sticking up)? Or are motorcycle tires thick enough to deal with it?
Lived in Tucson for a while and it seemed every plant was well defended. And some seemed to use the best defense is a good offense approach.
It definitely keeps one on the trail!
The choya(sp?) cactus ***** got me a few times.
But the javelinas, look out! Surly little bastards, especially when you startle a group of them(luckily I can peddle a bicycle pretty damn fast, lol).

Re: goatheads. Them little bastids!! Anathema to my mountain bike tires without slime, and a liner if they're going to be real bad. No problem with the m/c tires, but I have slimed them also and run a heavy duty tube. But, everything is bigger in Tejas so I don't know if my methods would be sufficient there...
