Default handlebars

I have an '09 and my Moose bark busters don't fit. Before I go through the bother of making brackets and stuff, anyone know of handlebars that'll take my moose handguards?

I've got Moose guards and use Renthal bars. They bolted right on, though I had to modify the front brake hose guide ring on the left to clear the inner mount.
Some here have either removed the factory plugs in the bar ends or have tapped threads in the plug and used a bolt.
I decided to just replace the factory bars. The Renthals are much lighter than stock as well.

Are they the plain 30$ Silver ones that come in an Orange-ish package?. I bought a set of 18$ bars that were identical to the stock ones and they fit fine. Might be easier with different bars. What a complete nightmare to put them on 1 3/8" bars.

If you can swing it get some aftermarket bars. I have even heard decent reviews of the inexpensive Tusk brand RMATV sells. I think the handguards will need to be tweaked to fit any set of bars. I had to give my Moose guards a couple little bends to get a good fit on my Renthal bars.

Thanks for the info, guys. I think i'll look at a set of Renthal bars. I need to get some real tires for the bike anyway, I might as well put together a big enough order to get the free shipping.

Put renthals on my bike. Got Cycra 'composite' plastic handguards. They were difficult to install since there was no metal to bend slightly. They are fine afterwards but I would buy something else if I had to do it over. The renthals are fine though and no need for bar ends weights either.

Dual sports can be a pain sometimes with bars, you need room for the added switch gear and bark buster clearance, and maybe mirror mounts. Just went through it myself changing to the same bars I use on my dirtbike (so both bikes "feel" the same).

Fwiw, renthal 7/8's bars came new on many late model mx bikes and often end up on ebay because the owner wants a different bend. I just picked some up for $18. You'll need to do a little cross referencing to get the bend you prefer. I use a 971 (crf honda) but may not be your style.

New 7/8 renthals are about 80 bucks. I have a set on the bench to be installed with acerbis hanguards. I chose the super common CR high bend which looks pretty close to stock.
