Handlebars for 2006 KLX250
yes I have read some old posts regarding handlebars.
Is there any new info. I am looking for more motocross/offroad type bar for my klx, maybe a higher rise.
also it has to work with existing stock handlebar junk....as in horn, mirrors, electric start, throttle....you get it.
any comments would help
thanks in advance,

I use Pro Taper High bend, I'm 5'10 and they feel wider and fit with the stock wiring. (On my 2013 though, but the bars were previously on a 91 KX80 2 stroker) They look real nice with the Pro Taper grips and the bar pad. Only issue with the bar is you get a hard time putting your key in and out the first times but all in all I reccomend you the Pro Tapers, I tipped that bike over more often then anything else and they didn't even show a slight amount of bend.

Go to a bike shop and check out their bars. Virtually any of them will fit the controls. If you want to be sure, measure how much space each cluster of switches, lever perch, and grip take up, then use the longest as your guide to what you need on the replacement bar.
Grab a few bends and pick the one that feels right for your wrists. If you want taller, get the high bend. You can spend from around $30 for steel bars up to well over $100 for the Pro Taper bars/clamp. You choose.
I guarantee you if I wanted to do Pro Tapers I'd spend some money on cheap steel bars to make sure I know what bend and height I want. I'd hate to screw up when it costs that much.
