I'll wait..sorry for the anxiety...I sent the message and then realized there was a line in there that said you would know shipping costs for the two CDN sets after sending the others. MY bad.

No problem mudjunkie. My PM's might not be as clear as I would like them to be due to excessive hours at work right now. No internet connection at home doesn't help either.

I've got some sort of camera/computer problem that won't let me download pictures so, no eye candy this morning.

The box of guards arrived when I got home late last night and I gave them a quick look and liked what I saw.

That gold one is going to good bling if you want to attract some attention. It should stand out nice against the rest of the factory hardware.

Delivery confirmation numbers for guards mailed today
0306 3030 0002 4642 2942 to MA
0306 3030 0002 4642 2935 to PA
0306 3030 0002 4642 2959 to ID
0306 3030 0002 4642 2973 to HI
0306 3030 0002 4642 2966 to WA

Be sure to shake out the box because I forgot to tape the money returned to the guards before I sealedthe box. I shoved the money in through the end and taped the box up so; it shouldn’t fall out during shipping.

With all of you guys getting the guards, I wonder if anyone has had the same problem that I ran into on the left side of the bike. (I ordered guards from unabiker a couple of weeks ago).

The right side went on with no problems. However on the left side, the upper edge of the flange on the outer vertical edge of the radiator obstructed the mating of the front guard and the side guard. Additionally, the hole on the side guard didn't line up with the hole on the radiator flange.

I wonder if the radiator changed slightly between the 2006 and 2007 models -- even though the part numbers remain the same?

No worries though, I ended up cutting offthe upper part of the radiator flange and drilling a couple of new holes.

Another minor issue was that the front fender brushed against the relocated clutch cable and the left guard slightly. The clearance here is tight to begin with. Got out the blowtorch and heated the fender lightly enough to put a slight bend into it.

I surelike the looks (I got black) and protection provided by the guards.

The clutch cable was an issue originally with mine too. Brian probably forgot that small detail in his instructions. We relocated the cable holder and made it work fine. I'll try to remember to get a picture of it.

Yeah the clutch cable holder mod was in the instructions. Previously it was tucked back in, but now it sticks out a little bit more -- veryminor issue. I didn't analyze it, but it occured to me that raising the forks in the clamps might have something to do with this (or not).

Even before, I noticed the tight clearance on the fender and the frame/horn/etc. I'm not worried about it any more as I increased the clearance with the slight bend.

Dan - Can you post pics of what you had to do to get he left (larger) side to work? I can't get anything to line up on that side!
