Grip removal?

They're only like $10-$15 a pop, who cares if you destroy them! I change them every month or so anyway.

TIP:
Drill the end of the throttle tube to match the internal diameter of the new handlebars so when you come to fit the handguards they bolt straight up. Just trim the end off the grip once you have it in place.

Thanks guys. I've got the bars mounted. I said to hell with it and sliced off the OEM grips. They were genetically melded to the bars and there was no way they were sliding off. I need a spanner wrench anyway, so might as well pick up some grips tomorrow.

It looks like the Tusk T-10 YZ High bar is the same height as the OEM bars, but we'll see how it feels once I actually try them out. They were closeout on RockyMountainATV.com. This way seems easier than drilling out the OEM bar ends. The red bars and black guards are going to look pretty nice.

I snapped off a little plastic post on the clutch side. I hope it wasn't important. Ron Ayers hasn't even shipped my new levers yet, so I'll be attempting to bend the OEM levers back.
