Default Greetings

Hi folks.
New KLX250SF owner from CT..
Just picked up the an '09 on Thursday.
Can't wait to register it and ripp.
The only things I've done so far are remove 90% of the stickers that were on there and some much needed surgery on the fender:
Here are some pics...

When I got her home:
Prev. owner had a lot of random stickers on her..

I have some hand guards coming in on Tuesday and looking at exhaust options.. any recommendations?
I don't like huge exhaust that sticks far out like this:

Although I do love the sound of the leo vince..
what is there for me?

Also: if anyone has a complete set of dirt tires/wheels for the '09 I would be really interested in purchasing them! (Or if anyone knows where I can purchase them)
I want to be able to swap wheels for when I want to do some dirt riding only.

Very Nice Bike. I love the sound of the stock exhaust. If you get a new can, it will be loud

I like some grumble.. but not too much.. that is why the Leo Vince would have been perfect (bc it had multiple inserts) but its soo dang big and doofy looking..
Also, you a bass fisherman?

I agree. The stock can doesn't sound bad at all.

Congrats on the bike. looks nice de-stickered. The two brothers exhaust is the only "short" one I can think of , maybe the the FMF powercore, but I know the 2 brothers is waaaay loud and have heard some complain about the powercore also.
FMF Q4 is probably the quietest aftermarket muffler and it still can get a little loud.

Congrats and welcome to the forum. You'll have fun with that bike.

I can't believe that ridiculous tail thing they come with. In the 70s and 80s the DOT made them put huge oversized taillights on the bikes. Now they don't require that anymore but they have that stupid reflector requirement instead.

I have an HMF with quiet core on my bike and I don't think it's too loud. It is quite a bit louder than stock when you're on the throttle but I think it sounds good!

I saw an SF at the dealer a while ago with a Two Brother exhaust and the Edge taillight. Looked really sharp. I've heard the Two Brothers pipe is about the loudest one available though.
