I've got one from an '09 with piston (~1000 miles on it) that I removed to go big bore if you are interested.

 

Wildcard, I think I said the wrong part. I'm looking for the cylinder head, where the valves and cams are assembled. Don't need the other parts, just the case. Engine was out of time and valve seats got warped so bad the machine shop couldn't fix it.

 

Ahhh... gotcha. Sorry, can't help there.

But I do believe that any head should work including the 300 up until the new fuel injected ones (throttle body boot is different bolt spacing/pattern than carb).

From one of the chinese KLX300 clones. The jug/piston kits work so the head should, dont know of anyone that has tried one tho
