LOL, yeah I know. Someone is selling a 2006 KLX in perfect condition so cheap I would just put it and swap parts, but it is over 1000 miles away one way!

 

If you decide to part it out let me know. The only thing i would like would be the rad guards.

Did you strip the motor,, ?
IS the head ok??

 

Yes I did. Needs a top end. Head is shot. Bottom end feels tight. Connecting rod not bent with no play. So with a new head and 351 kit it should be fine. I even have my old 250cc cylinder I can throw in. So a head and piston, rings and you have well set up bike pretty cheap.

 

2400 miles ish one way from here as well. That ride would have been a nice addition here.
