I sent Bill a 300 barrell I had picked up witha full Staintune exhaust. Its a wet sleeve in the 300 barrell in other words the water channels contact the barrell. Bill assures me they are every bit as good as a dry sleeve. Now I just have to get some time to install it, hopefully in a few weeks

you are going to love it. I do not know what you know but here are a few tips that helped me.
1. wask cylinder in warn soapy water then oil it.
2. BEFORE you remove the timing chain take a nice close up picture of it.
3. the piston gas a front and a back.
4. put a plastic wire tye on the timing chain so it will not fall in the lower end.
5. Get ready to have this stupid smile on you face for about 1 hour after you get off the bike.

Thanks for the hints Dave
Lee once USPS finally decided to deliver my cylinder to Bill instead of sending it back to Australia [:@] it was only around 2 weeks for Bill to do the work and I got itback here.
The 300 barrel I was very lucky to find through http://www.dirtbikeworld.net forums, I got the 300 barrel and a full Staintune exhaust for $500 [8D]

Pretty reasonable.
I would recommend using premium fuel unless Bill can tell you exactly what the compressioin ratio is now. I know the kits people are buying from Kustom-kraft are up around 12:1. I you are using the JE brand piston, the comp ratio is probably the same as the KK kit. The only way to get the it lowered back to stockvalue is to have some combustion chamber work done.

Edit: The Thumper Racing 340 setup is supposed to be 10.5:1 they said they tried several different compressions and 10.5 worked best. I got thumper and Kustom Kraft mixed up .... don't know about Kustom

Nuh, uh. Not if I'm remembering correctly. That's what I originally thought because Kustom krafthadn't actually done the calculations. I've lost the email from Marvin, but it's up around 12:1. That's part of the reason why Bill Dragoo had Lukes Racing to cc work on his head (correct me if I'm wrong, Bill).

The Kustom Kraft setup is supposed to be 10.5:1 if I remember correctly,.....I think thats what they told me.
