Default Got my bike back yesterday

Well on my way home yesterday i went past the service dept where my bike is.... and it was sitting outside!!!!!!!!! I was racin home from there, got home and no call from them.... huh... so i called and asked if it was done and they said it was and i could come get it. Just finished it didnt have time to call yet. So i hook up with my mom to take me out to get it. Well when i got there he said it was all done, and then says "I think we may have found the problem" i said " Im listening". He said that when they got the new head and valves and they put the new intake valves in the head when they were all the way seated in the head the piston still came up and hit them..... so they had to take the valves back out and machine the head so the valves sit farther down into the head. These were all brand new parts, its just how they came, and he said thats probably what happend from the other shop. Once he said that i remember ever since i got my bike back the other time there was a slight ticking noise, but nothing like before, i thaught the valves just needed adjusted, but they were fine. but im sure that it was the intake valve getting hit at every TDC. He said take it easy its likea brand new motor, and i didnt know about the rough break in method when i bought my bike, so when i left i kinda hammered on it....lol.... But it fired right up, idled smooth sounded great no noise at all!!!!! amazing. On the ride home it ran great, probably the best it has ever ran, i guess that last jetting adjustment really did good. Im so happy its done, and correctly. Its nice to know that there is motorcycle mechanics out there.... I rode to work this morning, its 49 degrees.... but i had to cause my mom took her blazer home so its my only form of transportation. My truck is supposed to be done this morning, so im gonna stop on the way home and pick my truck up, hopefully they will lift me and the bike up on a rackso i can put it in the bed and i can take them both home.... finally.....

that's great to hear...almost sound like Kawasaki may have an error on some mechanical drawings or something..to have a longer valve length than what is supposed to be there..
