But on a dyno measuring engine output does that necesarily effect hp?

With a knobby some of the power isn't going to make it to the dyno. Mounting a slick would be best for doing a dyno test.

The air pressure in your rear tire will have a noticable affect on the dyno reading. You want your tire full for the pull and if you want to cheat put about 50psi in it.

My local dyno won't run my bike on it because of the knobbies, I'd have to change to a street tire before they'd do it and I'm too lazy as my jetting is ok I just want to so i can see the hp in black and white.

Well if we are talking about air pressure and *****, if I had a true slick and 30+ psi instead of 25 or so...45hp? Nah probably 24 haha

A slick or street tire will read the same.

More pressure will help to a point. On a high hp bike too much pressure will result in tire slippage.
