Somebody needs to buy this before I spend money I don't need to! Anyway, the part numbers are the same between the 300 and 250s and I emailed the guy and shipping to FL was $38. So for around 160 you could have a spare front wheel. good deal. keith

Don't buy this wheel for the KLX250S, it will not fit. There are no other front wheels that will fitour bike, the speedo connection is endemic to the KLX 250S. Check out the, partscross referencing pageson the Kawasaki site.

 

if the speedo unit is seperate from the hub and the hub contains all the same part numbers why won't it work? i belive you i'm just curious. the 300 doesnt have a speedo but does have a odometer and some of the part numbers for it cross to some of the speedo on the 250s

 

I have done a lot of research on this, I really wanted a spare set with street tires. Unless you purchase a new wheel from Kawi or somebody parts their KLX250S you will not find a wheel to fit. I bought a klx 300 wheel thinking on the same line as you are, it did not fit. Ithad aslightly narrower hub and the speedo/odo connection would not match. Its for sale if you want it .
I ended up buying a set of SM rims matched to OEM hubs from jeff@procycle.comI eagerly await their delivery.
