Getting my bike ready for riding season
Hey guys, haven't been on here much lately due to some career changes and you know that thing called life happening LOL. Anyway I finally (after 4 years) decided to change my rear tire I figured it was due. I went with a Pirelli XCMH, read alot of decent reviews on this tire so we will see what happens. The stock dunflop had surely seen its better days
I got the 110/100M-18 size from motorcycle superstore, for $70 and free shipping I couldn't turn it down. Here it is next to the stock tire, quite a bit taller (probably due to no lugs left on my stock one) and maybe a tad skinnier

This was my first time changing a tire on a motorcycle to be honest so I wasn't sure what to expect. I watched a couple of youtube videos and after an hour or so fighting with my tire spoons the tire was on
Don't mind my fancy motorcycle stand

Added a motion pro rim lock while I had the tire apart, install was super simple

The front tire still has plenty of meat left so I decided to keep that one for now

I also got around to buying the parts for the carb 'T' mod, bought the tubing and fittings at autozone by my place for a couple of bucks.

My bike only has 2800 miles on it, I need to start riding it more
I did the oil change last week and greased the swingarm and rocker arm bearings. Now time to get some riding time in
Happy riding season, hope to see the locals from South Jersey out in the Pine barrens one of these weekends!
