Not much better than a stout and a good stogie after a day's ride...

Maybe a nice cold European lager, and shot or two of sljivovica!

Hear hear on the stogie. I always bring the cigars and my buddie brings the beer for our post ride chill time. This is only with 4 of us that have been riding and racing together since childhood age. We all moved away, but get together for a weekend ride 2 times a year.

Guys I've just spoken to Bill Blue, who i have a kit ordered with, and will be shipping today. He said DO NOT use full synthetic on the 351, as he's heard quite a few people burning out their clutches on the KLX 351 as a result.

I'm just going with Castrol Act-evo 10w-40 part synthetic as per Bill's recommendations.

He said he's still on the original clutch from 06. Can't deny he's a man who's seen his fair share of KLX's in his time !

Not only clutch protection - you can't break in an engine with synth oil - the rings will never "seat" - Resulting in a loss of compression as well as burning oil..

Yes i always knew that i needed to use dino for the initial break in, but i thought while i was on the phone with him i thought id ask his opinion on going fully synthetic after the break in.. He said don't do it !

Yeah, he knows what we know - With the 351 kit, you'll be upgrading your clutch, either sooner or later depending on your riding style.. It'll show up first when rolling on throttle aggresively while in an upper gear.. You could be proactive and go ahead with the Barnett clutch spring kit - Barnett Part# 501-25-06043
