Hi to all,
I have just required this bike and I was just wondering if there anyone out there could help with a query I have regarding the "FUEL " indicator on the instrument panel.
When I disconnect the "FUEL PUMP" from the harness the instrument panel lights up warning "FUEL REQUIRED" but when I connect it back-up with an empty tank the instrument panel light goes out.
Do I have a problem?
This to me does not seem wright as these bikes have a small capacity fuel tank and a warning of some kind would be needed.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

 

when mine starts blinking i can add 5-5,5L of fuel

 

Generally, there is a thermal switch/heater assm. on the pump module that triggers the indicator. If the indicator functions properly when connected I wouldn't worry.
