Front suspension clunking
Yeah, you gotta cover things up around here. I build software for vacation rentals here and my boss has a beach house where he replaces his BBQ every year and ceiling fans last maybe two years.
I bought these chairs two years ago, and this is one of the good ones

Anyone know if these would work for a 2006 KLX?
(same bolt pattern for caliper, same speedometer situation, axle and all that.

+1 on that.
There were suspension changes between the 2006-2007 and the 2009+ bikes (less travel on the 2009+ models), so I'm not sure if those forks would work. I think the brake caliper mount is slightly different as well, so they "might" work, but for that money, it's a big risk (unless you get somebody from the forum with a definitive - 'yes I've done that and they work' answer.)

I Live in Vancouver, Canada, so close to the ocean, and we get tons of rain (not the same climate as Hawaii, but still lots of moisture and some exposure to the salt from the ocean.) I've fixed up 1980's bikes that were in showroom condition compared to the pics I'm seeing of those forks (and everything attached to them.) I vacationed in Maui once (planning on going back in 2 years) - never realized the exposure to the salt, and the warm, humid air caused such severe corrosion...
