Default Front Sprocket 2006---2012 same?

I'm already thinking of changing my 2012 KLX 250s even before I get it.
Anyway I have a Renthal 13T front sprocket that I was going to use on my 2006 KLX 250s but now want to use it on my 2012 KLX 250s, Are they the same? According to Dennis Kirk it will not fit. Anybody know for sure if the
2006 and 2012 front sprockets are the same?

I far as I know the '09 and up has a different front sprocket than the '07 and down. The Moose part in my sig is THE right one. The outer part looks slightly different than the stock 14 but the backside (tranny side) has exactly the same offset on the shoulder. The centerlines of the teeth of the Moose 13 and the stock 14 line up perfectly when the two are set (shoulder down) on a machined flat surface (top of table saw). The honda 650 sprocket that supposedly works has the centerlines slightly offset ( 1/16"?, 1/64"?) in that case you end up having the back wheel angled in the subframe to make the chainline look straight.

Moose lists 1212-0073 as the 13T for the 06-12s and 1212-0387 for the 09-10s. I wonder if the 1212-0073 is good for 09-10s??

They have a typo in the listing. 1212-0387 is the 13 that fits the '09 and up. Reread my post above yours.
