Default Front sprockes which way

I just got the xr650 14 tooth sprocket But I was woundering where does the thick part go tords the motor? I just want know before I put the chain on in the morring right now I have the thick part next to the motor

It should only go on one way right. If you're talking about the shoulder, it does go against the motor.

Uh yea I missed that, thanks Iowa, I think he meant 13. But I have been wrong before, I just can't remember when that was
