After browsing through past posts, it seems there is no consensus on whether or not the Fram CH6015 will work on the '09. I compared the Fram to the OEM filter when I did my last change, and they seemed identical from all sides. I am hoping it will work as my local Wal-Mart keeps the filter in stock, but I am afraid to try it unless I know it will work. Thanks for the help!

 

The Fram ch6015 filter fits the 09 and does not leak.

My experience with the Fram filters is this. I have found 2 versions of this Fram filter, one made in Korea, and one made in China. The ones made in China will fit our bike. The one's made in Korea have a slightly smaller diameter hole and won't fit on our bike. The filters are stamped to reflect where they were manufactured. Open up the box and check out the filter before you buy one.
