Default The Four Stroke Trail

More helmet cam from last Saturday - same day as the fun on that hill. This is some NC single track. I think I got out first gear maybe once. The fast 2-stroke guys call this "The Four Stroke Trail" because it is so open and free flowing. [sm=icon_rofl.gif] At about 5 minutes in, you see why they are called "bark busters".

From the vidio I would'nt call it open and free flowing, tight and technical is more like it. Sure is a lot of bark missing on the trees.

Great video NB, I can see how that trail got it's name. Wouldn't want to try that on most 2-smokes, probably foul a plug ever five minutes...

Actually the preferred ride the tighter the woods get are two-smokes. Its called the 4 stroke trail because its more open and not as tight as some of the others......I was the guy on the KLX in the video...

Hey Josh, did you see the radiator grill hanging in the tree? I wonder if I should hang my busted up hand guard there too?

In the video, you can see it just beyond the ditch at around the 8:16 mark, hanging in the tree to the left of the trail.

I'm probably going to be spending the 4th with the family. If something changes, I'll let you know.

BTW, next weekend, the 13th, some folks on ADVRider are heading to Uwharrie. You want to go? That's a Sunday. Tentatively, I'm going to try and make it. I want another shot at that "Daniel" climb.

Those are my favorite, too. I could ride that stuff all day long. It sure is a work-out and will get your heart pumping, though. Be sure and bring your camel bak.

I've got a helluva bruise on my left leg that I did sometime that day, but I have no idea when I did it. [&:]
