Default foot pegs

Has anyone up graded there foot pegs for larger ones. If so what make were they.

I made mine from scratch for the KLR but just modified the KLX ones to make the wider. I'll post some photos when I can find them.

You'll find some cheap Chinese knock-offs on ebay. Some guys like them. There's been at least one story I recall of the cheap peg breaking resulting in leg bruises and scrapes that could have been much worse.

I appreciate the do-it-yourself methods and just wish I had the talent and tools.

I also made a pair out of some 3/16 x 1" steel. They are roughly 2 3/8 x 3 1/2 and feel much better to stand on vs the stock pegs.
