RE: Florida Riders, it's coooler here than NY. Let's ride!
Well it's Friday now, better late than never:
We started about 8:30. Daniel met at my house with his DR650. My friend Adam went with us and rode my KLX and I rode the BMW:
We rode some firetrails for about 15 miles and came across this gate:
Luckily the chain and two locks were not attached to the gate:
A little later we came across this:
It was deeper than it looked:
This guy showed up on the quad while all three of us were pulling on the BMW and asked if we were stuck. His name was Louie and that's all I have to say about him.
Here's DR Daniel, notice the blood stains on the bike. He's had a few spills and had to patch his front fender and side panels. He added the red paint to cover up his patch work.
This is along the old brick road:
We went to Princess Place afterwards. I've posted some pics before:
The first in-ground pool in Florida:
Some old trees, I can just imagine Indians walking through this property a few hundred years ago:
The bikes took a break:
We headed home after that and cleaned the bikes on my patio:
I'm ready to do it again this weekend, but I have too many projects lined up.

Great ride! Great pics! How does the Dakar compare to the Big Suzook off road. Of course I'm assuming the KLX kicks both of their **** in the mud?
