I'm running a 351 cylinder and using the TM36-68 pumper. Once i had the carb dialed in I wouldn't even consider going back to the CVK. Its an amazingly responsive carb. I always had a hesitation when I cracked the throttle on the CVK which I couldnt resolve. The TM36 with the pumper has an insant response. RPMs rise very quickly compared to the CVK.

Also you mentioned that you wanted a quiet exhaust with a HP increase. Use the KLX300 exhaust with a new end cap. These are hard to find. The KLX300 didn't use a cat and retains the spark arrestor. Also it's stronger than a aftermarket so it won't dent if you drop the bike.

Stumble
Have put about 300 km's on the 340 so far, engine runs strong, I really like it, although at highway speeds an erratic stumble is troubling me. I have read that it might be an electrical issue of some sort, a grounding issue or a voltage regulator issue. Wondering if there anything definitive on this?
On another note, new suspension springs front and rear will be here Monday and a rear rack will arrive as well, the bike is coming together nicely..
Thanks

I take that back, stumble is still there, it's subtle, but there and it bugs me, gets worse as the bike warms up or is under load when heading into the wind, starts around 5000 and goes to 6000 or so. My jetting is 128 main and dj spring with dj needle set at 3rd notch, left pilot alone, air/fuel screw at 3 turns out. It's almost as if the slide is hunting, not holding it's place at a that RPM and a constant throttle setting. Wondering if it could be as simple as going back to the stock spring?? I'll have give that a try tomorrow.
