Hey, not to hijack the thread but what kind of tire is that? What sort of riding do you normally do (terrain/conditions) and are you happy with it?

*update*

Pulled the intake snorkel out, took it for a ride and the bike is stuttering.

I ordered a uni filter, kdx snorkel, and dyno kit.. plan to do stage 1. I will let everyone know how this goes. Being in ohio im at about 500 to 1400 feet asl and i doubt ill need jetting as aggressive as some of the higher altitude riders. We shall see!

Not surprising it's running different, that snorkel is restrivtive. I went with the stage 2 setup plus a 38 pilot with exhaust and KDX snorkel, it runs great at 800ft.

Just out of curiosity, if you run only on street, and you're starting from scratch, why wouldn't you do a lidless setup?

I might end up riding in the rain, plus it just seems "done right" that way to me. Also looks like this is subject to debate in other places and i like the idea of the bigger duct pulling air. Some people say no way but to me it seems logical but idk. Can you list your setup?

Thanks

Mine is 100% stock, except for a Delta full exhaust and KDX snorkel. I got the Dynojet kit and followed their directions for stage 2, except added the 38 pilot, with air screw out 2.75. I'm setting mine up geared for dirt, but have only had it a few weeks.

Correct me if im wrong but the dyno kit doesn't come with a pilot jet and they dont recommend replacing it?

At what step did you decide to replace your pilot and how did you know to? Like did you just do it after the snorkel mod or did you have clues from how the bike was running?

Lmk
Thanks

Right no pilot with the kit, and you don't have to replce it, I read the jetting thread in the FAQ and made my decision to change the pilot. I just did everything at once, and was happy with the results.

Nice. Did you have to turn your mixture screw back in after you put the 38 pilot in?
