First day of Spring ride
It had been really wind all morning but it slacked off
enough after lunch to get out for a quick ride up
on Blanchard Mountain. Didn't expect the white
stuff

the Kenda 270 on the front lost what little grip
it had and so did I

managed to get out from under and decided to turn around least
I do a repeat performance

rode back down this spur and over to the Samish Overlook.
The wind was still howling across Samish Bay

the Samish Valley was still under the winds.

Fun to get out for a short ride

The higher elevations here still have 6+ feet of snow on them... won't get to ride there for another couple months. On the bright side though, that's enough snow to take the sleds out. ;-) It's been in the 50's-60's in the valley and supposed to touch 70 this weekend, so I'll be riding the KLX and the RMK both in the same week.
