The "leader of the opposition" (wife) thinks that my KLX is the biggest piece of crap ever invented.
How can a new bike need so much work doing to it?

"just off to the shed love"
"why"
"work on the bike"
"now whats wrong with it? What a piece of junk. More money"!!

I am P**sing myself just thinking about it.

Stop! Just be happy with what you have....

Yeah, RIGHT! I've done a ton of mods and every time I open a magazine I see more possibilties. I think I'll just take a break for awile and enjoy my new Moto-Pro supermoto supsension system. First test ride will be tomorrow, if weather permits.

If you have the mod bug again, how about getting Webcams to re-shape your stock units into their 101grind? I love that increased rush of power.

Now there's an idea.

Ahh she gets ridden plenty at every opportunity.
And nearly all in the dirt.

Tremor, cams is an idea. Maybe over the summer.

JRock, Yeh happy with the BG. Got it for a good price and it's lasted up well.
I think there are plenty of pics spread about on this site as I think i have written a report on all the mods as I did them.

What do you mean you installed 300cc kit? Did you buy a 300 jug and piston and install that or is that a typo meaning you put the 330 kit in it?

Do I have the correct understanding that you basically just made a KLX 300 with electric start and a key? Or is this still a dual sport?

the 300 jug and all parts fromt the klx300 fit on the 250..... alot of guys just use standard kawi parts to upgrade to 300cc's

Almost sounds too easy.

If that be the case then could you install the KLX300's 400cc big bore on the 250 instead of the 330cc big bore kit? Should work shouldn't it? That would seem pretty cool to me. You would have awesome power and lighter weight of a typical 400cc dual sport (DR-Z 44)

It was part of the deal from Kawasaki Aus when I bought it.
All the parts needed to up it to a 300 for $A500 I think.
If I didn't have it already on, I would probably have gone for the 331.
