Congratulation on the new bike!! I agree this forum and the people that post here are pretty cool..this generally seem to be an older crowd here so you don't get a lot of smack talking like you do from the young adults.. LOL .... You remember when you all were young..LOL.... (I look back now and i was just a little punk who though he knew eveything..) MAN I wish I could go back to those days knowing what I know now!

( and by older crowd I mean mature crowd, not old.) LOL..

Well, they say "50" is the new "30", so I guess that makes me around "25"

Have to tell you that I took my KLX to Bike Week in Daytona in early March; it got more attention and thumbs-up from bikers than my two riding buddies' fancy Harleys. They nick-named my KLX "kermit"; it was pretty exciting to ride into biker bar "corrals" on Kermit. Congrats, it's a great bike for dirt and back-road fun.

I know what you mean Tennisman. These bikes get all kinds of attention. A friend of mine who just bought a new Ninja 650 said he would rather have a KLX 250S after seeing mine. I think he realized the Ninja doesn't go too well in the dirt.

Hey Dabarn, you are from Longview? Besides Tony you're the closet to where I live (Forks, Olympic Peninsula) But my mom lives in Castle Rock on Delameter. I actually lived in Longview for a year or so back in 1985. I hated it, my car got broke into, my step dad died there and so when I got the chance I moved back home to Forks. Good old Forks, Wa, population 3500-4000 and one stoplight. I love the small towns, but I do get down there a few times a year to visit my mom. I have to say that Pro Caliber Motorsports is one of the biggest shops I have been to, I'll bet they had 400 bikes and quads on the floor. I bought my boots, pants, jersey's, oh and the 13 tooth front sprocket there. Hey maybe next time I come down I'll bring the bike, and you can introduce me to the trails there.

Here is a pic from Pro Caliber
