Just came in from a 45 mile ride. I snooped around MS Streets and Trips to find the closest twisty back roads and managed to find a couple not too far away, and not too far from eachother. Since throwing on the street tires, curvy roads just are hard to resist, and I go out of my way to find them now. Being only 50 degrees out though put a slight damper on the fun, but that cold dense air makes the bike happy! Anyway I took some pics from Lake Azonia as that was the only real scenic thing on the ride, so enjoy....







I took these from the campground side of the lake. The next series are from the fishing access area which is off to the left outside of the frame here.











The flash fired on this one unfortunately. Anyway Lake Azonia is near the Northern border of the Adirondack Park in Northern NY. If you look at a map of NY, there is generally a large green shaded area about 3/4 of the way up the map, thats the ADK Park.

Presently solo is good, I said different in May but I was wrong Much less stressed out, for the time being anyway. I'm a better X-mas shopper for the green mistress anyway, just paid for 2 nice silver rings...I mean wheels.

 

good for you. i do recall saying something about all it takes istime toheal those wounds. the deeper they are the longer it takes. i'm glad to here that your getting there.

 

Yeah I'm workin on it, taking these mini trips are a big help. Just get out and enjoy the scenery, and the absolute quiet and tranquility of the lake.
